The deity of Christ
Jesus is God. John 10:30 says, “I and the Father are one.”
The Holy Trinity
Matthew 28:19; “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
There is ONE GOD, eternally existent in three Persons:
- God The Father
- God The Son (Jesus)
- God The Holy Spirit
Salvation through Jesus Christ alone
Acts 4:12 states, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” This passage speaks of the name of Jesus and His saving power. Jesus answered, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6).
The Gospel
In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Paul spells out what the Gospel is and how important it is to embrace it and share it with others. “That Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” This is the essence of the Gospel.
Faith
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). As Christians we live with the understanding that we believe in a God we cannot see; we see His work in our lives and all around us in His creation. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
