Joy through the Impossible (Short Film)

Marion Swanepoel was born and raised in South Africa and has been involved in ministry for the last 15 years. Marion has been battling debilitating illness for 26 years and was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary Artery Hypertension, Right Heart Failure and Congestive Heart Failure. Her days are confined by chronic pain, fatigue and the need for oxygen. She was informed that if there were no new complications she would have three to six months to live. Through her story of amazing courage and faith, Marion wants to see lives changed around the world.

Nick Coetzee, owner, producer and film scorer at the Rain Music Studio has been producing outstanding music and video for many years. Originally from South Africa, Nick has been based in Florida since 1995. His music ministry and production career began in Australia in the 90’s where he produced the first US release of the hit song “Shout to The Lord” with Darlene Zschech as well as scoring 250 episodes of the drama series Paradise Beach. He is currently scoring several faith-based film and TV projects for world wide release. Website: rainmusic.org

Chris Worthington is a world class film director who is making waves inside the faith-based film industry. His recent project Multiplied released theatrically nationwide May of 2024 and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Growing up Christopher had little desire to live for Christ – that is, until he radically met Jesus on November 22, 2013 at a worship concert in Tampa, Florida. Where he walked into the concert hopeless, depressed and in disbelief of the authenticity of Jesus and where he left with joy and peace overflowing out of the core of his soul. Chris has been on a mission ever since to document what he experienced that night – Jesus Christ Himself.

What is the project?

This project consists of two phases and is set to be completed before the end of January 2025.

1) A 20-25 minute short film about Marion’s inspiring story, documenting her joy through Christ in the midst of her prolonged and overwhelming struggle.

2) Producing three albums (30 tracks) of spoken word, prose and poems with original cinematic music.

Rain Music Productions in association with Every Nation Will Bow Inc. will jointly publish and promote the content for distribution on platforms everywhere.
